The Ordinary World –

            Eminem grows up in Detroit where he lives in on a street called 8 Mile which is a trailer park street. He has a daughter and is living with his mom and working at a distribution center making and pressing metal.

The call to Adventure –

            Eminem is in the part of town where rap battling is a big part of the cities entertainment where gangs go and battle each other. His friends are part of this place where they battle, they ask Em to battle because they can tell he has talent.

Refusal of the Call –

            Eminem refuses to go battle cause he’s nervous.

Meeting the Mentor –

            Eminem has a friend that is the leader and host of the battle place and he mentors em through out the movie.

Crossing the Threshold –

            Em finally decides to battle and he chokes way bad and gives up.

Tests, Allies, Enemies –

            Eminem Is hated by a group called ‘313’ which is the part of town theyre from. They give em a lot of crap and always start beef between the two of them.

Approach to the Inmost Cave –

            He meets this girl and starts seeing her around and makes love with her and then hes a dick and looses her.

The Ordeal –

            Eminem finds his friend sleeping with the girl he met and starts a fight with him then Em comes home one day and they pull up and beat the crap out of him and his daughter is watching from inside the house and crying.

Reward –

            Em gets back with his friends and goes to battle where he has so much hate that he doesn’t choke and he beats the guy from the other gang.

The Road Back –

            Him and the girl become good friends again and he starts battling more and winning. And he gets the crowd and everyone in the city on his side.

Resurrection –

            The resurrection of this movie was the final battle beating the other gang in the last battle of the movie. He not only beats the first guy but makes the last guy speechless!

Return with the Elixir –

            This movie was the beginning of Eminems legendary career and shows how he became big and what the situation was that he had to grow up in. Eminem is now one of the biggest music artists in the music business and is still making great hits to this day.
